03 Nov FTA farewell’s Mr. Ray Melton

FTA was sad to say goodbye to one of its longer serving ground theory instructors, Mr. Ray Melton.  Ray commenced teaching in FTA in 2002 and specialised in Aerodynamics and Aircraft Systems.  On his retirement, Mr. David Toy, FTA’s COO commented “Ray has been a fantastic servant to FTA for over 21 years, starting out as a maintenance engineer before taking his years of knowledge and aviation passion into the classroom. Many professional pilots flying for airlines around the world today would have been inspired by Ray’s enthusiasm for aviation and his unsurpassed historical knowledge. In addition to Ray’s knowledge and teaching skills, he is a wonderful work colleague and team player and will be missed by everyone. We wish Ray and his wife all the best in their retirement.”
