Flight Training Adelaide is a residential college located at Parafield Airport, South Australia. A full range of services are available at FTA including selection, student welfare department, English language training, airborne flight grading, CPL, MECIR, ATPL, MCC, jet transition, flight instructor and helicopter pilot training. FTA offers students a unique and comprehensive CASA ground theory computer-based training system for self-study.
Served by two sets of parallel runways, Parafield Airport has a substantial capacity for all circuit training. Parafield Airport is located only 20 km from Adelaide International Airport, allowing students ready access to IFR operations in an international terminal area environment with moderate traffic density

The Qantas Group Pilot Academy was established to help meet the increasing need for skilled aviators in one of the fastest growing global industries. In partnership with the Qantas Group, FTA offers a full range of services, including student selection, ab initio and advanced training courses, as well as management of accommodation facilities onsite at Toowoomba’s Wellcamp Airport.
Campus
Academy students will live and study in Toowoomba. Wagner Corporation have designed and built brand new, purpose-built classroom facilities, student accommodation and a hangar, providing the best possible learning environment for the next generation of pilots.
